Ancient Greece

Today in class we learned about some of the things ancient Greece has invented. We also "discussed" the definitions we defined for homework. Just a few of the things Greece has created is theater, pottery, democracy, and philosophy. There are many other things that the Greeks have invented. We also were told to look up who Socrates was. I found out that Socrates was born 469 BC and died 399 BC. He also had a wife named Xanthippe and three kids; Menexenus, Lamprocles, and Sophroniscus. Socrates was a classical Greek Athenian philosopher and also was one of the founders of Western philosophy. The Socrates method is a form of discussions between individuals based on asking and answering questions to show critical thinking.
